THE IMMORTALITY OF MAN

length: 02:41 | subversive docu-narrative spoof mashup-thing

download: high quality (quicktime, 13MB), low quality: revver

This video makes the claim that man has achieved immortality through the creation of one of the most mundane, everyday objects of all time. It is an ever-so delicately spoofy and exaggerated examination of the absurdity of man's worldly creations.

A comment: I did this in college. It was fun. I don't know what I was thinking. (That's a lie, I do know what I was thinking...) Hopefully it works for you. Maybe it will haunt you when you go grocery shopping. Maybe you'll start seeing all those plastic bags pop out of the streets of your neighborhood. But I doubt it.
