Things are happening. Many things. I am working on a group documentary focused on the lives of two undocumented immigrant workers, and the experience has been pretty stellar. We pitched our idea before the issue really blew up in the media, and the prospect of piecing together a story from the past two or so months of shooting is pretty daunting. Very daunting. I’m anxious to see what comes of it.
I have a new small job lined up that has not been made 100% official, so I won’t mention it just yet… but it should be fun and it will be a nice source of some (very small) change, at least. Looking forward to it.
Ideas have been rolling through my head for the upcoming post-grad summer, and I’m interested to see what I actually make of my time. I feel inspired to do many things (that’s a vague comment, yes), and I hope my energy remains intact… Film/video projects, some traveling?, etc…
I’m swimming in too many thoughts.
