In two weeks, I will be back at Dancing Rabbit. What once felt like a long visit home is suddenly nearly over. It is somewhat strange to think that I have been here this long already. I am looking forward to returning, and I will miss certain things about being here, too.
I anticipate the upcoming winter months and how I will keep myself occupied. My biggest concern is being able to continue doing my online writing (I am a freelance blogger) without any long interruptions to the solar power systems at DR. I sense that there will be many long, cloudy days ahead, but I need to be able to access the internet pretty regularly in order to do my work. Be kind to me, clouds.
I expect a totally different change in my daily routine these winter months. How it will play out, I’m not so sure. But I’m pretty excited to see how it goes.
Note: Please find all of my cob building related content at my new blog, The Year of Mud: Building a cob house. Thanks! See you there!

Take your long underwear. It is cold in Lexington.
