I went to the beach for the first time in two years. It was a pretty regular thing until I moved to Missouri (especially when I was younger), but now I’m nowhere near the ocean. You kinda take it for granted when it’s so close.

It’s been very gray gray gray this week, with only spots of sunshine here and there. After a few days of stupidly warm weather, it’s feeling more like winter again. But it ain’t that bad, I think. It feels kinda good, at times. Here’s a few snapshots from around the village. Gray and brown are definitely in this season. It’s a world of difference.
