I am pretty psyched right now because it appears that my rocket stove, complete with nearly 25 feet of horizontal run (including two 180 degree turns) and no vertical stack, is successfully drawing.
More on that later.

Hullo. I am Brian Liloia, but I am also called Ziggy. I'm a 26-year-old currently living at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage. In April of 2008, I began building my own cob house, and on July 11, 2009, I moved into the finished home. Here I have documented the entire cob building process, and continue to share information about living in an earthen home, and now my latest project, a group kitchen. This is the Year of Mud. The experience continues.
Learn how you can help spread awareness about cob building by helping The Year of Mud to continue to share cob building stories and information. Thanks for your support!
- Timber framing on the co-op kitchen
- Building foundation for tiny cob woodshed
- Mud room addition finish work
- Building a reclaimed lumber and roundwood bedframe
